(Updated!) Maybe a Travel Blog?
I’m thinking of starting a travel blog. I figured this’d be the easiest, quickest way to answer all the travel questions I’ve been getting. No less than four girls have asked me for tips and though I promised them I’d get back to them quickly, it’s been ages since they asked and I still haven’t. Without a travel blog, I’d most likely get to answer their questions only when hell freezes over and the cows come skating home. A travel blog would help me, too. I’m terribly lazy; I should be keeping track of my travels but I haven’t been. And now, it’s too late to do a catch-up; I’ve forgotten most of the details. I resolve to be proactive about writing for the upcoming trips. There will be loads to write about. The plan, if I get the visa to these places, is to go to Scotland, Paris, London, and Spain. I’m quite thrilled about all four even though this will be my second trip to Paris this year. I didn’t do the first trip to Paris justice. Because we went in the thick of winter, we spent more time huddled indoors. Not this time around, I hope. It’ll be summer when we get there so this early, I’m thinking of packing a lot of skirts, dresses, and shorts. They should be lighter to lug about, and I might even have room in my suitcase for one more pair of shoes. The travel blog will also cover packing. I know diddly squat about packing. I plan to change all that so I end up hauling along only the essentials, nothing more. And because I won’t be bringing with me so many things, my luggage wouldn’t look like a disaster zone anymore. Everything would be in apple pie order, and I won’t ever see a rehash of what is still for me the most horrific commute experience in the world: getting squished inside a train in Paris, in rush hour; with all my luggage beside and around me. It was so cramped at the time I couldn’t even move my elbows! Okay, I have to run. I wrote this while waiting for the heater to work. I have a really busy day ahead but it can’t officially start until I’ve showered. Enjoy your Monday, kids! |
Oh, please do start a travel blog! I love travel blogs, I live vicariously through them, and they’ve been a big help with my past trips. My husband and I are planning a big Europe trip and I’d need all the advice I can get.
Plus, nothing beats your writing.
I’d love to read about your travel stories as only you can tell them.
I hope you get this visas!
oh please do start a travel blog! It doesn’t have to be updated (guilty!) heheh all the time so yes, I will be your fan already! xoxo
