Seven Distractions

Every time I have more time than I know what to do with, I find myself window-shopping online. This might not be such a bad waste of energy if only I don’t end up obsessing over every pretty thing I see and want to have. And yes, the cool boss rc 300 from guitar center is very much a part of that list. Here’s what the rest of the list looks like:

1. This nude dress with a pretty back

2. The colors red, orange, and yellow

3. Floral shorts

4. Prints and hats

5. Crochet

6. Lace

7. Text leggings

I don’t get where this behavior is coming from. I’m normally the type that let’s pretty zen about letting things like this happen if only because I have bigger things to worry about such as my kids inheriting a toxic, climatically done for planet, economic instability, food safety, terrorism, antibiotic-resistant bugs—and shooting budgets. Because yes, I happen to be wrestling with one at the moment, and if I do not turn it in within the next 16 hours, I shall forever and ever be blacklisted from ever working with the kindest, funniest, most talented German co-producer and distributor in the whole wide world.
