Heavily Freckled, And Scared of It
What’s the best moisturizer for a 27-year-old? I’m awfully lazy about skin care. The only time I pay attention to my face is before I leave the house, slapping on Ponds’ detox cream (yellow sachet) so I don’t break out into an oily mess outdoors. Fortunately for lazy ‘ol me, my skin isn’t very high maintenance. I’ve never had any need for acne scar removal cream, whitening soaps, and the like because the skin on my face doesn’t seem to need much looking after. I very rarely have pimples and if it weren’t for my freckles, I wouldn’t be worrying about skin care at all.
I have freckles, and they’re huge. I don’t know why I have them. I rarely spend time outdoors. I’ve had them since I was a child but it’s only now that I’m older that they bother me more and more. They’re everywhere – on my face, elbows, chest, breasts, legs. Heck, even my knees and my big toe have a smattering of freckles!
My brother is as heavily freckled as I am, perhaps even more. But, his don’t look as bothersome because he’s darker-skinned. You wouldn’t notice his freckles from afar even though they’re all over his face and body. So yeah, what’s the best moisturizer for a fair-skinned, heavily freckled 27-year-old? I’m not terrified of aging; I’m terrified of being covered with freckles!

Olay Total Effects with the SPF 15 works well with me. It’s kinda costly but it’s the only moisturizer that works for me.
