Goodbye, Bland Land
So I’ve been doing some reading and an idea I’ve always known leaped at me again, from a page. The world is very competitive and those who are boring and bland (and most importantly, don’t innovate) get lost in the soup.
The world may have gotten incredibly politically correct in a lot of ways but innovation is not one of them. Innovation is still all about letting the chips fall wherever and taking stabs in the dark with an idea most people will tell you won’t work.
Ever seen that show where they feature the ads that get banned in the U.S? These ads are hilarious and off the wall but they work. They are remembered because they are memorable. And hey, if a viewer remembers the product because of the ad, that ad just paid for itself many times over!
And the beauty of it all? Anyone can innovate. You can just get out there, do something really different, and actually make a huge impact on whoever it is you’re trying to reach. When you create, innovate, and take chances no one else would, you can’t NOT succeed.
Just sayin’
Hi! My name is Chin, and this is where, to quote Jane Austen, I "run mad and as often as I choose."
