Boho Ambitions
Author: ChinI like the 60s and I like the concept of the free spirit. However, I rarely try to channel my inner boho because the look seldom works for me. I’m tiny; flowy and flowing dresses make me look like I got swallowed up by yards and yards of fabric.
I’ve learned from experience that the only look that’s even the slightest bit flattering on me is the clean and minimal look. Straight lines, solid colors, hemline slightly above the knee, pumps that do not match the color of the dress – I rarely deviate from this formula and with good reason.
Still, that doesn’t mean I don’t crush on boho chic chicks. Today, while waiting for the 10am photoshoot (I’m not really sure what it’s for; Kara just called up and asked me (and Alex) to be in SM for the shoot) and describing cigar accessories for Iris, I got my celeb fashion fix.
This look screams “unfinished”; Miley Cyrus looks like she stole her mom’s curtains because she thought it would go well with her boots.
Nicole Richie, on the other hand, nails it.
Hi! My name is Chin, and this is where, to quote Jane Austen, I "run mad and as often as I choose."

you’re right… cyrus should’ve worn the necklace as a belt instead.. maybe then it wouldn’t look so unfinished.
