Back!

If I were to kill this blog, I’d do it spectacularly. So believe you me, the fact that I ignored this blog for some time doesn’t mean I’ve writing elsewhere. I’ve been busy; and I’ve been away. The husband and I took so many trips this summer there’s very little time for blogging.

In the coming weeks, I’ll be posting a series of disjointed posts. I know I should have been more religious about writing down events as they happen BUT I really have been busy. We took 6 trips to Bohol in the past two months. That takes a lot of doing, I tell you, because two little children, two yayas, and a whole lot of luggage to boot are not easy to lug around.

I’ve so many stories to tell it’s difficult to tell them because I don’t know where to start. Right now, I’m uploading videos to YouTube. It takes forever to finish one upload! I’m not sure who to blame, YouTube or my Internet line. Pero magpursigi ko ani because I promised relatives I’ll put up the vids we took. Meanwhile, I’ve been playing catch-up with the storytelling here, here, here, here, and here. I promised the husband I’ll make posts of how our days went so we could read them someday and remember how we spent our time.

Sizzle, Sizzle

With a bod like that, she should be on ANTM, huh? That’s what I thought when I first saw this photo, too! But would you believe this woman is more than 5 years my senior? And that she has had two kids to boot? Well, believe it, because Iris and I know for a fact Rose has two boys named Harley and Huey. And, once upon a time, before Paul, marriage, the boys, and Thailand, she was my third year high school English teacher.

Rose is the sexiest teacher I’ve laid eyes on. She makes me want to subsist on diet supplements – nothing else! But of course, we all know getting thin is just one hurdle for me. Even if I do manage to accomplish that, I’ve my height to worry over next… and there’s no cheat sheet for that.

So yes, Rose is hot and yesterday, she messaged me the dresses are on their way. Whooopee! I love, love you, glamarazzi!

Still Round

If you’ve had enough of the weight talk, do not read this post. Better yet, come back to this blog next week because I’m pretty I’ll be obsessing over my weight for a few days more. See, the Sunstar spread came out today; Alex looks cute. In contrast, I look like one of the warships in the Spanish armada. Or, to be less cruel to myself – a container van.

I wish losing weight is as easy as losing hair – which is really easy, I tell you! Just try stressing out over every little thing that doesn’t sit right with you and before you know it, you’ll be balder than Bembol Roco.

But I digress. Let’s go back to talking weight. I’m really, really keen on losing weight. That doesn’t mean I’ll try any fad diet, though. You shouldn’t, either. Ever heard of Colonix? It’s a colon cleansing kit that’s being marketed as the ultimate weight loss product. Don’t buy their marketing pitch. Colon cleansers sound iffy for a reason – they are. Why on earth would you cleanse your colon yourself? Your body is built to be self-cleansing! I wouldn’t try colon cleansing on myself, that much you can count on.

What’s next on the list for me? Subscribing to Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop, I think. I know Gwyn’s getting laughed at for this project but hey, the lady’s putting a lot of effort into goop-ing. Goop may not help me much but what would it hurt, right? So thinness, fabulousity, and Gwyneth, here I come!

Gone Round

The hub is crazy. He thinks I’m too thin. Too thin? He must be blind – if I get any bigger he’d have to roll me out of the door! Alex now refers to me as the big circle and herself, the small circle. This makes the hub the extra large circle and our family a family or circles!

To make matters worse, I usually sleep late (think 4am kind of late). If you’ve ever tried working late nights, you’ll know just how hungry one can get at midnight and in the wee hours of down. I do, and that’s the reason the hub and I sit to dinner three times – the first at 6pm, the second, at midnight, and the third, at 3am or thereabouts.

Well, I say, this pigging out has got to stop. I may have to start reading diet pill reviews eventually bit before I do, I’m going to have a sit-down with the husband tonight and talk food. Teddy bears are cute, rotund; 26-year-old moms are a different story.
