The hub finally figured out what to do and how, dotcom-wise. He got me a dotcom as a birthday present, insisting I need it because of the many blogs I’ve been keeping. Truth be told, I could do without the site. I’m the laziest writer I know, and it takes an acute bout with boredom – that, or another doctor-mandated bedrest – to make me want to write. Still, I’m grateful. I had no idea a dotcom could be so complicated. One actually has to install a lot of thingamajiggies into the site, including cpanels, a software suit named fantastico, and a variety of wordpress themes. I told the hub not to tell me these gory details; what I do is blog, not set up sites.

How do you fall in love?

You hoard tenderness and joy and quiet moments under your eyelids. You cup secret glances and laughter and sighs in your palm.

One day, you will have someone to give all these to, but in the meantime, find quiet comfort in the knowledge you have a whole heart to give.
