Too Young, Too Smooth

So we finally decided to put a limit to Alex’s Internet hours. Four hours daily, tops and that limit’s staying put, no matter what she tries to bribe us with.

Last time it was growth. She promised to grow fast in exchange for a few more hours of Nick Jr.

We had to say no. Why? Well, for one, she’s in danger of becoming permanently attached to the laptop, for one. For another, it’s not like she could load up on HGH so she could send her pituitary gland on overdrive and turn 5 years older in the span of a week. Finally and most importantly, I’d really rather she doesn’t grow too fast.

Grease Monkey

It’s been so hot lately it’s become practically impossible to step out of the house without turning into a greaseball. And yes, you can just imagine what a mess I make in the mornings in my DreamEssentials.com body pillow!

I’ve never had to worry about oily skin before but thanks to the heat and my sweat glands’ amazing ability to produce grease, I just may find myself looking for natural acne treatment one of these days.

Heard of Mesothelioma Lawsuits?

I know cancer isn’t a pretty subject to google but I’ve been looking it up; and I learned something interesting about mesothelioma.

Do you know that if you have mesothelioma, you may sue the sellers, installers, and even the manufacturers of products with asbestos?

Goodbye, Circuit City

I’ve been avoiding the news, especially stories about the recession. But today, I read about Circuit City, and before I knew it, I was googling it like mad.

Circuit City was the second biggest electronics retailer for consumers in the U.S. When it folded on Jan. 16 this year, it left 34,000 unemployed. It’s not clear what would happen to the 765 dealer outlets and retail stores that Circuit City has in Canada; odds are, these would be sold as well.
