10 Things I’m Too Old NOT To Have

I like lists. They’re easy to make and fun to read. I still don’t do memes because I find them exhausting, but in my mind and on my notebooks, I draw up lists I enjoy thinking up the answers to. I know, I know… it’s weird to like lists and notebooks so, but I do, and this is my list of 10 things I’m way too old to still not have by now.

1. A really luxe, really thick bed so wonderful you wouldn’t want to leave it at all

2. An oven

3. A set of China that I chose for style, not for the price

4. An auto insurance (because, of course, I don’t have a car and therefore have no business looking around for an auto insurance quote – what would I insure?)

5. A delicious foolproof, burn-proof recipe

6. A pet (although my laptop might qualify because it’s certainly just as needy as a pet’s supposed to be)

7. A smaller waistline

8. Sheets with very high thread count

9. A little black dress that takes off pounds mysteriously

10. A bedtime

What about you? What is it you think you ought to have by now?
